Participants rate Legal-Writing Workshop by The Write House excellently

Cross-section of participants, legal-writing workshop phoho
The Write House is revolutionizing the way lawyers, judges, professionals, and others write. One of the ways it does this is through its plain-English movement.

The Write House conducts regular legal-writing workshops, both public and in-house training. Its most recent workshop was Legal Writing Fundamentals, 29-31 October 2014, Sheraton Lagos.

The legal-writing workshop attracted participants from law firms, corporate organizations, and government agencies. The 3-day training succeeded in exposing legalese and verbosity in conventional legal writing.

At the end of the workshop, The Write House presented certificates to the participants. From participants’ feedback, the workshop was rated “excellent”.

Since 2012, The Write House continues to pioneer the plain-English movement in Nigeria.

The Write House is Africa’s frontline team of legal-writing consultants, experts, and trainers. Its mission is to democratize access to law by promoting plain English in legal communication and writing. Chinua Asuzu is the CEO.

The Write House’s next workshop is Brief Writing Masterclass. It holds from 26-28 November 2014, Sheraton Lagos.

“A brief should be luminous, not voluminous.”

To write a winning brief, you must first winnow the issues.
