Business And Legal Writing
Of all those arts in which the wise excel
Nature’s chief masterpiece is writing well
Writing well is the most vital and yet the rarest skill in law.
As lawyers, we must not, in hot pursuit of common law, outrun common sense. The dread of that eventuality prompted this course.
Business & Legal Writing promotes common sense in business and legal communication. Clear language, which is commonsensical, broadens access to legal documents, thus democratizing the law, and it achieves this without sacrificing the majesty of legal language.
This 3-day workshop drills lawyers to write with communicative effectiveness and efficiency. It also motivates lawyers to prefer clear and coherent language to the legalese and verbosity that have besmirched legal writing for centuries.
The workshop features a 1,515-slide PowerPoint presentation, a 731-page course book, challenging exercises, and other training materials. Each participant will get a copy of the course book.
This program deploys exercises and expert guidance to give participants an immersive, intensive, and interactive learning experience.
You will derive immense benefits from this course. You will gain a definite competitive edge in the profession, both locally and globally.
